Noteworthy Events/Project/News:
| *Homework is given out on a nightly
basis. The Homework usually consists of either a Math or an ELA assignment.
The students will rarely be given science or social studies for homework.
Please check your childs' agenda book nightly for assignments.
*ELA- The students are expected to read for a minimum of 20-30 minutes per weekday evening. After they read, they must complete their "Home Reading Log," which consists of 5 days' entries to fill in, along with initials from their parent/guardian acknowledging that the student completed the assignment. This log is due every Monday, unless there is a Monday Holiday or snow day, then it is due the following school day." *Math- If the students do not have math homework, they can always study their addition /subtraction/ multiplication/division facts. *Spelling- If your child needs help
with spelling, please work on the Dolch sight word list, as these are words
your child should be able to spell this year. The website for this is:

DAILY HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS DECEMBER 8th- ELA: Write an example for each
of the 4 main types of sentences. 1)declarative 2) interrogative 3) imperative
4) excalmatory.
